2011
- September: DynEd's Aviation English solutions are adopted by Jeppesen, a Boeing Company, as their preferred Aviation English Vendor. Jeppesen-Boeing will market and sell DynEd's programs as part of the quality training solutions offered to their wide range of customers including those from commercial aviation, general aviation, business aviation, universities, and flight training organizations. Further announcements pending.
DynEd releases a new and expanded version of its academic English preparation program: English For Success. This new course prepares students for a full academic curriculum in English. "This course is for students who want to enter International Schools, US High Schools and Universities."
- July: DynEd and China's CCTV sign agreement to produce a new advanced listening course built around a popular interview news program, Dialogue, aired throughout China through CCTV News. This course will focus on international issues and will present an interesting cross-cultural perspective on topics such as Tertiary Education, Climate, and Aging. The course is due for release in the first quarter of 2012. According to DynEd's Lance Knowles: "This new course will significantly enhance DynEd's courses aimed at higher level learners, especially for those involved in international business."
- January: DynEd's Let's Go is adoped for use by the Polynesian Ministry of Education. In a five year deal, the Ministry builds on the successful implementation of DynEd in the islands over the past three years. DynEd's partner in the project, Skillsize International, has continued to provide ongoing support and teacher training throughout the project.
2010
- November: DynEd's Teacher Training course: Teaching English: A Brain-based Approach has been honored for its excellence by Technology and Learning magazine as winner of an "Outstanding Product of 2010" award.
DynEd and the School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont, team up to offer a teacher training course for the 21st century. The focus of the course will be on blended learning. The first course will be held in China in January, 2011, and is already full, with participants from Russia, China, and Mongolia.
- October: The DynEd International Conference 2010 was held in Beijing, China from October 19 through October 22. Participants numbered more than 150 DynEd partners and staff, and came from 25 countries. Participants shared ideas and experiences with DynEd, its new products, teacher training, technical support, and business strategies in various market segments. Participants also visited schools in China to see examples of DynEd's successful implementation.
- September: DynEd celebrates its grand opening into the Czech Republic. On September 9, Mr. Lance Knowles, President of DynEd International, gave a presentation on DynEd's most effective interactive Computer-Assisted Language Learning System at the U.S. Ambassador's Residence: DynEd Enters Czech Republic.
- August: Article published in Language Magazine: "Harnessing Technology" by DynEd's president, Lance Knowles. The focus is on how technology is being used to reform English language teaching and training around the world.
DynEd conducts teacher training program for 100 teachers in Hanoi, Vietnam, as a first step in a nationwide initiative to reform English language teaching.
- June: SEAMEO's Regional Language Center (RELC) in Singapore renews DynEd license for 6th consecutive year.
- May: DynEd participates in a Brain Summit with Neuroscience Learning Co., Ltd. (NSL) in Seoul, Korea. The focus was on neuroscience research and products for language learning. DynEd's Lance Knowles made presentations on the cognitive neuroscientific theory, RHR, behind DynEd's brain-based approach to English Language learning, in particular the differences between the oral skills (listening and speaking) and oral reading.
- April: DynEd releases its oral assessment test, or Speaking Test, for low-proficiency level students for markets outside Japan, along with updates for all products. The Records Manager is upgraded to include new monthly and detailed Study Reports.
Jakarta Province Schools chooses DynEd for piloting in 30 high schools.
- February: Indonesian Ministry of National Education Office of Vocational Education selects DynEd to upgrade English skills in 600 vocational high schools as first phase. Implementation starting in July, 2010.
- January: DynEd's oral assessment test for low-proficiency level students, the ERP Test, was successfully used by a group of Japanese universities researching the oral proficiency levels of Japanese University students in a project supported by the Japanese Ministry of Education. Data analysis is now underway, and further testing will commence in March. DynEd plans to release modified versions of the test for markets outside Japan in March or April 2010.
TransPac Aviation Academy renews and expands use of DynEd in 2010 to more than 500 air cadet trainees from China. Outstanding results, both in improved English competency and in operational cost savings from 2009, credited for positive decision.
Vietnam's Tien Giang Province launches DynEd project to support K-12 schools in the province. Innovative "mobile lab" designed by local DynEd partner will be used in implementation.
